ECI Lighting were delighted to be selected to provide the lighting for the recent construction of a new academic building for the RCSI in the heart of Dublin’s historic city centre. There was extensive use of the Regent channel 4000K recessed profiles throughout the building to create continuous lines of light along the main thoroughfares of the interior. The stunning minimalist design of these lines of light along the corridors were echoed with shorter versions in the more open spaces of the building, which creates a sense of continuity throughout. This use of profile channel lighting was perhaps most impressive in the lecture auditorium in the basement of the building where three separate lines of light span the width of the space.
