04 Apr Reopening of Our Roscrea Castle Project Features on RTE News
The reopening of Roscrea Castle recently featured on RTE News after extensive restoration works were carried out by the Office of Public Works. The structure dates back to the 13th century and is a major tourist attraction in the area.
The multi award-winning specification team at ECI were involved in the design and supply of new energy efficient lighting for this major restoration project.
Wireless Casambi Bluetooth lighting controls were used throughout the site in order to avoid the need for electrical cables for switching. This enabled ECI to sensitively enhance the historic structure while at the same time preserving its integrity as a listed building.
ECI would like to thank Walden Electrical, MEP Engineering and the Office of Public Works for their professionalism and dedication on this project.
