ECI Energy recently completed a sports lighting upgrade at Naomh Mearnóg GAA club with no upfront capital costs. In total, 141 old and inefficient light fittings were replaced with highly efficient LED, including the clubhouse, car park, training and all-weather pitches. The upgrade resulted in a projected 38,500kWh of energy and 20 tonnes of CO2 saved per annum. The estimated savings to the club are €5,000 per annum.
