ECI Lighting were thrilled to supply the architectural lighting for No.26 York Street, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland which has been voted the country’s favourite building of 2018 in a public vote.

The new extension just off St. Stephen’s Green is equipped with state-of-the-art, cutting edge facilities for the next generation of medical and surgical professionals including a new library, auditorium (pictured) and sports facility.

No.26 York Street was built with four of its ten storeys underground in order to circumvent planning height restrictions in the historic heart of the city centre.

The building won 22% of the public vote, with over 10,000 people taking part and stiff competition coming from the likes of the Dublin Port Regeneration Project which ECI Lighting were also involved in.
