ECI Lighting are delighted to announce that the stunning Roxo 6th ELEMENT luminaire has won the prestigious German Design Award – Special Mention 2017.
The German Design Council, which is one of the most highly regarded and respected design authorities in the world, deliberates on the competition entrants from all around the globe, making this a huge success for the Roxo 6th ELEMENT. The Special Mention distinction is awarded to works which are particularly well conceived.
The 6th ELEMENT was inspired by the shape of the diamond and of the carbon allotrope, which is the sixth element of the periodic table. When connected, the 6th ELEMENT light beam effects, suggests a similarity to the light trail created by the shooting stars when crossing the Earth’s atmosphere. The final result is a connection between an eccentric product and the latest LED technology, combined with different types of optical lenses, making the spaces quite exclusive and unique.
The winners of the German award are selected by a panel of international experts appointed by the German Design Council. Winning this award among that many competing products, means being part of an elite of absolute excellence.
